- Bettina Gunderman was
born in 1969, and at an early age, discovered
dance as means of expression. After having taught dance, she now
lives as a freelance author in Dortmund. The excerpt in Volume 7,
Number 2/3 is taken from her first book publication, a simultaneiously
surreal and hyperreal novel in which several "lines" intersect:
the lines of relationships between the characters, complicated by
the fact that one of the characters of the main plot is the narrator
of the farme story; the lines, in the sense of the "path"
things take, that show the characters slipping into lives of crime
and drug abuse; and, finally, the lines of cocaine.
