- HAHN, Ulla
- Ulla Hahn, born in 1946,
earned her Ph.D. and taught at several universities, as well as worked
for a public radio station. She is a popular poet whose work addressed
issues of contemporary life, ranging from love to anxieties. Her poems
use irony and often traditional poetic devices (such as rhyme); however,
her 1995 collection of poetry documents her abandoning rhyme and engaging
Modernist modes.
