- PFÄFFLIN, Friedrich
- Friedrich Pfäfflin was born in the Würtemberg section of the Black Forest in 1935. He has been director of the museum department of the National Schiller Museum since 1976. In addition ot his apprenticeship in the publishing business, he studied in Hamburg and Tübingen. His job experience includes work for several publishers in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Paris, Tübingen, and Munich. He has published on Theodor Däubler, John Heartfield, Wieland Herzfelde, Karl Kraus, Else Lasker-Shüler, and Berthold Viertel. The exhibits (with catalogs) that he has organized include the following: Jean Améry, Wilhelm Hauff, Schiller, Christian Wagner, and the publishing houses S. Fischer, Rowohlt, and Kurt Wolff.
