- Bruno Steiger lives in Zurich, Switzerland. He has published novels and short stories. Jackson Pollock in Amerika is his most recent publication, in which he continues to be innovative and playful. For instance, in an appendix to the main body of the novel, Steiger supplies us with selected events concerning the lives of the main characters in the novel from 1912 to 1962. From the entry for 1946, the reader also learns that Steiger himself was born in Zurich in June of that year. The translator of the exceprt from this novel, published in Vol. 1 No. 1, has described Steiger's style as being "like Pollock's paintings, drops upon a canvas, not linear or reflective of reality, but abstract to a point of abandon."
