- Dieter Stolz,
born in 1960, studied German literature, history, and philosophy in
Münster and Berlin. He worked at the Department of German Studies
and Comparative Literature at the Technical University Berlin. After
writing his dissertation on Günter Grass, he now works at the
Literary Colloquium Berlin. He is an editor of Sprache im technischen
Zeitalter (where "The Author and His Undercover Agent"
the interview with Günter Grass and Claus-Ulrich Bielefeld was
first published in issue 139, September 1996) and a co-editor of the
critical edition of works by Günter Grass.
