Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature
AEBLI, Kurt
Kurt Aebli was born in 1955 in Switzerland, near Zürich. He has written poems and short prose, such as Der perfekte Passagier [1983; The Perfect Passenger] and Die Vitrine [1988; The Cabinet], respectively. Mein Arkadien [1993; My Arcadia], is a collection of short stories that exemplify the author's ironic approach to reality in the form of what he refers to as "aebligrams." Kurt Aebli has published three collections of poetry and six collections of prose.
