Dimension2: Contemporary German-Language Literature
TGAHRT, Reinhard
Reinhard Tgahrt was born in Klein Schardau, West Prussia, in 1936. He studied German literature in Mainz, Göttingen, and Tübingen. He has been employed by the German Literary Archives since 1967, since 1989 as director of the library of the German Literary Archives. He has published on Ludwig Greve, Wilhelm Lehmann, Oskar Loercke, and bibliographical topics; he has organized exhibits (with catalogs) about Johannes Bobrowski, Rudolf Borchardt, Hermann Kasack, Oskar Loercke, translations during the age of Goethe, and the publishing house Goverts/Claassen.
